Lifesroots’ mission is to help empower women by encouraging them to value themselves so that they might be able to go out into this world and fully ‘shine their light’.  Slavery is the ultimate insult to the human condition, and after learning about the ridiculous number of peoples trafficked and enslaved in our modern day communities, we felt the call to join the Project to End Human Trafficking and help restore value to these abused human lives.

The leather cord awareness bracelet we have designed is intended to wrap around your wrist 3 times; for every man, woman, and child enslaved in labor.  A sterling silver tag with the words ‘CHAIN FREE’ imprinted on it, should act as constant reminder and reflective vehicle addressing the injustice of modern day slavery imposed on a frequently forgotten people.
